Pan for Gold

What do you need to bring? We provide everything you'll need to find your own gems and gold, but here are a few items you might consider bringing:

• Camera
• Sunblock
• Sun glasses
• Hat
• A light jacket
• Walking shoes – all panning and gem hunting tools are provided for you.

We have great hands-on staff here who do the heavy lifting, so all you have to do is show up and sift through the gravel to find the hidden treasures.

Part of the fun is sloshing the screens in the water troughs in our gravel washing area. Cleanliness is a virtue but that ain't why we wash the gravel. You gotta wash it to clarify what you got. The water rinses away the clay and mud that let the sapphires hide from view.
